Furnace Sizing and Measurements

How do I determine what size furnace to use in my home?

The size of furnaces are measured in British Thermal Units, or BTU. One BTU is the amount of energy required to heat a pound of water in an hour, and the heat made from the steam is then sent into your home to heat it. Measurements are based off of many factors that are specific to your home.
